Adobe Lightroom CC and Adobe Photoshop CC are designed to work together in a semi-seemless workflow. As you progress in your knowledge and skills in both, you will be better able to determine when to edit in Lightroom and when to go into Photoshop.

Photoshop can do much more in terms of editing than Lightroom, but Lightroom’s set of tools are specifically targetted to photographers, which makes it a great choice for most shooters. However, Photoshop can offers tools and techniques than are second to none for professional editing.
