What To Do When You Don’t Know What To Do

I’ve been in a creative slump. It happens to everybody. As a result, I forced myself to create a still life. I don’t normally do still life images, so I figured I’d give iot a shot using 3 off-camera flashes. I made a video of the process, which you can see below. I decided to make a video instead of writing an article, in order to save some time.

As it turns out, I spent about twice as much time editing it down to 10 minutes (YouTube requirement), than I would’ve if I’d just written it up! Regardless, maybe it will spark something for you, or maybe it will show you something new about using speedlights. One way or another, I hope you find it useful.
